Comfort Care Hospice is a licensed and certified hospice care program serving the Dallas, Denton, Tarrant and Collin counties. We are licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and certified to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Founded 10 years ago, we are a Texas-based organization covering the full spectrum of transitional care for critically ill patients and their families. Our services include home health care, respite care, hospice care, and bereavement support. We provide informed, connected, consistent care and solution based choices that are patient centered and align with individual values. We are dedicated to ensuring the quality of life regardless of circumstances or diagnosis.

Our dedicated Comfort Care Hospice team is accessible at any hour. We offer 24-hour on-call nursing support so that you and your loved one experiences ongoing medical, emotional and spiritual care. We provide quick responses, clear expectations and transparent communication around the “why’s” and “how’s” for any circumstance.

The services we provide are aimed at clear communication and attentive reassurance as we support your loved one in transitional and chronic diagnoses. We provide all medications related to your diagnosis, along with medical equipment and supplies.

In addition to medical, spiritual and social work teams, you will remain connected to your community as our team of volunteers visit in the comfort of home or facility. The Comfort Care Hospice volunteers are compassionate, mission-driven and dedicated members of your very own community. Our volunteers are our team’s expression of love and they bring joy to patients and families through meaningful connection.

Our Volunteer Capsule consists of several key programs that will support and serve our patients and families during this time. We understand that time with our patients is when we begin to deeply understand that who we are is a gift to be given to one another. The heart of the volunteer is our DNA. Through intentional and collaborative planning, we create an experience that simulates activities and environments for you and your loved one to enjoy. We give our time to listen to your life stories, share your hobbies, and reflectively interact as you and your loved one share the hopes and fears you are facing during this time of transition. We will be with you every step of the way, reassuring you that what matters most is not how much time we have, it is how we live each present moment.
